On September 2, the University of Tsukuba, Malaysia held its entrance ceremony for 15 new students. Located in Kuala Lumpur, it opened on September 1, 2024, and is the first overseas Japanese university campus authorized to award Japanese degrees. | |

On August 25, an MoU signing ceremony was held between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the University of Tsukuba regarding the establishment of the "Seismology and Exogenous Geodynamics Research Center." | |
