[1] 【Malaysia】University of Tsukuba, Malaysia Welcomes New Students at the Entrance Ceremony for AY 2025

On September 2, the University of Tsukuba, Malaysia held its entrance ceremony for 15 new students. Located in Kuala Lumpur, it opened on September 1, 2024, and is the first overseas Japanese university campus authorized to award Japanese degrees.

   

[2] 【Kazakhstan】MoU Signed with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University to Establish Seismology Research Center

On August 25, an MoU signing ceremony was held between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the University of Tsukuba regarding the establishment of the "Seismology and Exogenous Geodynamics Research Center."

   

[3] 【African Nations】African Students Visit Campus through the Sakura Science Exchange Program

On August 19, high school students from Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Zambia visited the University of Tsukuba as part of the Sakura Science Exchange Program.

   

[4] 【Japan】Multicultural Synergy in Action: GASSHUKU@Daigo

From July 4 to 7, as part of the Multicultural Campus Project Toward Social Impact, 13 students from five countries conducted fieldwork in Daigo Town. Staying for three nights, they examined local issues such as depopulation and discussed solutions in small groups to support regional revitalization.

   

[5] 【Japan】The Global Village Summer Festival 2025

From July 4 to 7, as part of the Multicultural Campus Project Toward Social Impact, 13 students from five countries conducted fieldwork in Daigo Town. Staying for three nights, they examined local issues such as depopulation and discussed solutions in small groups to support regional revitalization.

【India】The 2nd TUAN Alumni Reunion Held in India

On August 22, the 2nd TUAN (Tsukuba Universal Alumni Network) Alumni Gathering of the year was held in India. Five alumni gathered for the occasion, enjoying a warm and intimate atmosphere that fostered meaningful connections.

   

【Malaysia】TUAN Reunion Held in Malaysia

On September 1, TUAN alumni gathering in Malaysia was held at Amari Kuala Lumpur.

   

【U.S.】TUAN Reunion Held in Boston

On September 4, TUAN alumni gathering in Boston was held at the Cambridge Innovation Center.
